FTPT: My Journey into the World of Doctor Who

Everyone hold on to your butts.

I’ve spent my whole life not liking Doctor Who.  And as with The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Dave Matthews Band, I’ve realized it may not be that I don’t like Doctor Who so much as I just don’t like Doctor Who’s fans, otherwise known as Whovians.  I mostly don’t like Whovians for the same reason that I don’t like watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail with Monty Python fans.

You know what I mean.

Now it seems the search for one’s own “My Doctor” is a personal one.  But no Whovian is content with just finding their Doctor.  They then have to tell you why their Doctor is the best Doctor.

So since Netflix put some classic Doctor Who on Netflix Instant, I’m beginning the quest to find My Doctor.  I’ll be updating this post as I research the different Doctors.

We were guest at the Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadowcast performance by That Type!  They do shows the last Saturday of every month at Crown Point Theater in Charlotte!  Showing is at 11:30pm.  Tickets are $7.
